The story in the details.
Notable design details:
- While often scary in design, gargoyles have been used for centuries to protect those within the beautiful buildings they perch upon.
- Stony in nature, these sentinels are not only a decorative feature, but they also have the practical purpose of funneling rainwater away from the building.
- Hidden in enclaves and building edges, they have stood the test of time. Next time you're in an old building, look up and perhaps you will spot these artistic architectural accents watching over you.
